In Their Words...
Booked two years running.
"Had The Groove Merchant lay down the beats at the Wakatipu High School Formal 2025, amazing! Tom was excellent at reading the crowd and was able to provide an excellent evening's entertainment for the students. Highly recommended. Will get him back next year for sure."

"Once again Tom - The Groove Merchant - came to the party at the Wakatipu High School Formal 2026 (A Masquerade). His ability to 'read' the crowd of over 270 attendees was amazing as he progressed through from some welcoming vibes at the beginning of the evening to some classic toe tappers at the end of the evening. I cannot recommend The Groove Merchant highly enough and will certainly get him on board again for next year's event. You WILL NOT be disappointed in Tom's skills and expertise."
